SEO/AEO Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
    • Conduct keyword research, site audits, and competitive analysis.
    • Optimize website architecture, metadata, schema markup, and internal linking.
    • Build high-quality backlinks and monitor domain authority.
  • Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)
    • Design strategies for visibility on AI-driven answer engines (e.g., featured snippets, zero-click answers).
    • Structure content with conversational intent and FAQ-rich schema.
    • Experiment with emerging search formats like voice search and generative AI responses.
  • Content & Performance
    • Collaborate with content, design, and dev teams to create high-performing, search-friendly content.
    • Track KPIs: organic traffic, CTR, keyword rankings, and conversion rates.
    • Use tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and AI SEO tools.
  • Continuous Innovation
    • Stay updated on evolving search trends—Core Web Vitals, AI search updates, and future SERP behaviors.
    • Run A/B tests and present data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of proven SEO experience; AEO or voice search optimization experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of on-page/off-page SEO, technical SEO, and schema markup.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven search ecosystems (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, etc.).
  • Proficiency in SEO/analytics tools (Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, storytelling, and communication skills.
